You remember our huge and wonderful American Bulldog, who we rescued over 1 year ago. He was abandoned, tied up... I'm sure that anyone who saw the pictures of him at the time will have the image of the forever broken dog giving up on life burned into their retinas for a lifetime... 😢💔 Nick has opened up, his zest for life has returned, he is a smiling, powerhouse wonder. There was really nothing missing for the perfect happyend but a family. We have tried to campaign for him several times, but so far without success... but of course we won't give up.
Nick started limping painfully a few weeks ago. Our miracle worker Dr Boda examined him and found that he has serious problems with both knees, but the critical one is the left one. Yesterday he underwent a complex knee replacement and knee ligament surgery at BodaVet Veterinary Clinic.
Even though Nick is a real tough guy, the first day and night took a toll on the poor thing. Despite the strong painkillers he cried until dawn... 💔
Now it's about 6 weeks of the first and very strict phase of recovery, after which he will need physiotherapy. In addition, it's worrying that his other knee is not perfect and now he has to carry his weight on three legs. ❤️ Today he is better and again he seems to be made of iron, he will get over this, we are sure.
Nick's check up and surgery was over 200.000Ft even at a discounted price. There was no question that he would get the chance to live a pain free life. However, we are asking you to help us raise this huge sum. As you can see, our veterinary costs are incredibly high. 🙏❤️
