Sárga/Castro, our old protegé and his troubles

We have been worrying all day long because our old protegé Sárga (Castro) went under the knife today. Sárga whom we call Castro at the home has been with us for 3,5 years. The authorities took him from his owner because he was kept under horrible condition. It even showed on his mistrustful behaviour that he didn't receive too much good in his life. With time he made a 180 degrees turn, he became a big sweetheart and everybody loves him. He has favorites too. One of them is Sanyi. If Sanyi is at the home then he never leaves his side. If he is not there then he stucks to Géza. If neither of them is there then he follows one of the girls. Since he behaves well and gets along with every kind of animal he can run around freely from morning till evening. Not long ago we have noticed he has a bump in his throat. We made an appointment at the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum for an endoscopic examination. It turns out the bump is a tumor which was removed and sent for analsys. He is doing well after the surgery and he is taking painkillers for now.
Please, keep your fingers crossed for him that the biopsy results won't reveal anything serious.
