Nelson’s eye is beyond recovery

Another poor dog has came to our animal home. Nelson came from the dog pound in Pápa. He was found with a seriously wounded eye. Just looking at it makes my eye hurt.
This kind of goggle eyes are prone to injury and they can even fall out in case of stress. We don’t know how long has he been in this condition but he is taking it like a champ. This kind of injury hurts and he has intraocular pressure in his eye. He was taken to the vet immediately and he was examined. Unfortunately his eye can’t be saved and it needs to be removed.
Nelson is in a lot of pain but he is still very friendly, patient and real DREAM dog. After the surgery and healing we will look for a dream family for him.
