Another sleepless night awaits us….

Rufus our big teddy bear is well known because most of you who visited our Noah’s animal home have seen him and his sister near the entrance where they safeguard the storage unit and wood shed. They are two giants who love to cuddle but if danger approaches then they are fearles protective giants.

Rufus is in trouble now. 3 days ago he didn’t eat his dinner and since he has always eaten well that was worrisome. We have taken him to the vet where he was examined and he found a big tumor on his neck under his larynx. He needs to be operated asap and it could be that the it affects his thyroid glands and as you can see on the x ray the tumor is represses his throat. The surgery was planned for next week but today his condition deteriorated greatly and couldn’t even swallow his saliva so he will have an emergency operation tomorrow morning and we will deal with the situation as it comes. We are hoping that everything will go well and the one good thing is that his blood results are good.

We also have to worry about his sister Bicske who can’t live without him. She was so sad that she didn’t want to eat her dinner and even if everything will go well they will have to stay apart for days and it will be hard for her as well!

Please, keep your fingers crossed for both of them because they have to stay together!
Please, support Rufus’ examination, surgery and treatment. He and his sister have been with us for 6 years and nobody ever virtually adopted them!
