Dog Log 09.07-15.07.2012
2012.07.19.

I’d start this week’s webdiary by a conundrum: What’s seen in this picture?

We were thinking about the answer for a while after he had been brought in. After three hours of hair cutting it turned out that he is an puli under the hairs. As we were curious we weighted the hairs: it was over four kilos. Try to imagine how hot it might have been carrying it in 40°C …
Denver couldn’t handle the freedom for days, he had to learn how to walk again.

He feels himself much better these days.

Herodes and Roxette are about 7-8 years old purebred pugs. Animal lovers saved them from a terrible situation, that’s how they arrived at NOAH’s.
Roxette is in a terrible condition. Both of her eyes are ulcerous, her breasts are full of lumps she need immediate medical care. She gets on well with other dogs.
Herodes, just like a real pug goes and comes, keeps an eye on everything. He gets on well with other dogs but he tends to mark visitors. We hope this problem will disappear after his neutering.

Makuka and Buga are two female retrievers who were found in the forest between Vasad and Csévharaszt. At the moment we are looking for their INITIAL owner

Elza was found in Baross Street in the 17th district. She might be a seven-year-old pekingese-yorkie mix but that’s for sure that there were no big dogs among her predecessors. She is a real lap dog with her two kilos. At the moment we are looking for her INITIAL owner.

Vinyó, this 6-7 years old foxi mix male dog was found in Maglód after being hit by a car. Fortunately he didn’t have dangerous injuries. He has a big bruise on his thigh but it can be healed within a week. At the moment we are looking for his INITIAL owner.

This cute little thing was brought in this week. He lives with foster parents until he is well enough and can be released.

Fortunately a lot of our dogs have found home this week, there were puppies among them.

Kiscsoki, Twix and Lunita moved to their new owners too. It’s unbelievable but we found Puppy Metal’s initial owner. It happens once in a new moon when it’s about puppies. It turned out that he escaped when the grandpa’ wasn’t looking. Naturally he left for home with a chip.

Vértes and Gertrúd found new homes in Germany.

We’ve got new photos about our adoptive proteges, Rasztafáni and Füstös.

Those ears…

It’s worth to check that cat out in the background

Csoki Oreo (nowadays Maszat) found his place quickly in his new family, we’ve got news about him. „ He loves his time on the yard, digs, scratches and chews everything – just like an unbred puppy would do! He eats and grows properly. Actually he is about to become vegetarian as he loves to eat those fallen peaches and apricots – when he gets there earlier than us. He got his vaccination last Sunday.”

Eper enjoyed herself at her adopters

We’ve received a package but not from the neighbours. It came right from Italy. There was a cover in the package for our horse, Debby who had a hernia surgery. Thanks for our fan who sent it, it has been needed for a while.

Unfortunately we have bad news as well. One of the elders is gone ☹ We cry for all of them but to tell the truth the elders are deep in our heart. We love the pensioners’ club on NOAH’s farmyard. Aunt Gizi was one of the nicest and most beautiful member of this exclusive club. She had been living with us for almost a year and everybody loved her with her greyish face and friendly personality. It’s hard to believe that someone had left her behind on an abandoned yard to starve. Thanks to animal lovers this terribly weak dog had been saved. Although we loved her we couldn’t give her the most important thing: an owner for her last year. Her old body couldn’t wait any longer, she run out of strenght and we could do nothing but accompanied her over the Rainbow-bridge. Good-bye our old friend you will never be forget!

Why is it worth to join Noah’s? For these little miracles.

Something cute at the end. Linda and the lemon cheescake:
