Tündér Palkó left, Amálka came instead of him –this is how the horse rescue group makes a swap
2011.08.16.

The ones who read our webpage regurarly, or come and help us know that one of our horses, Tündér Palko is fighting against roaring a long time ago. Unfortunately this disease can not be cured.

We tried everything to cure him. But developing the best circumstances is a bit hard here. The NOÉ animal shelter is near the route M0 where there aren’t any mountains to produce mountain air.
So we should something to do in order to solve this problem!
I called Rozi (www.zakuszkatanya.hu) and told her why it is fantastic for her to have a roaring horse. Here is the time that never returns! Just here, just now, just for her, just from us! This pony is wonderful with blue eyes, pink nose and with foamy-white mane and white fur. O.K. his lung isn’t the best, but he is a fairy!
Rozi wasn’t born yesterday! It was a bit hard to tell her why she really needs this pony (fairy pony!). As we talked she asked me to do a swap, because she has also few places on her shelter.
This offer was correct. She is doing us a favor. So our next task was to decide who is coming to NOÉ Pethome. The decision was easy- roaring horses can’t come!
„Traccs!”-she says. I think it’s shit if she is happy. So I asked her who is this horse. She answers me: „You know the thoroughbred you said he is ugly and fag.” The other thing is that he is shoulder-gimpy. I can’t do anything because it’s not a sport stable but a shelter.

O.K.

Take a deep breath!

I can’t bother my friends with all of my problems.
Traccs is a thoroughbred. I don’t know why, but I can’t endure a thoroughbred more than three minutes. But what can I do? The fairypony needs mountain air. I don’t know anybody else who lives in the mountain and have horses, just Rozi. Even if the replacement system is Traccs.
Oh, My God!
I cannot step back shortly before the finish. In the mountains of Matra air can be biten, but here in Budapest there is just smog. So in Mátra life is much more easy for a roaring horse.
I was dreaming all night. Sometimes I was happy and smiled a lot (I saw how happy is Tündér Palkó in Mátracsehipuszta when he sees a mare with his blue eyes), and in the next moment I was shivering cold (don’t ask anything about Traccs!).
Rozi is not as malignant as a good friend. So she called me on the transferring day and gave me an other offer: Amálka. She is a mule who is not lame but she kicks a lot. Rozi couldn’t tell me the whole sentence, I just told her yes for the plan B.
Honestly, after the phonecall I asked the crew in Noé which horse is better for us. We are a group so we have to decide everything together. „ Hi! I talked to Andi Várkonyi (for the sake of weaker: Rozi) and she said we can choose between two horses. I’ll tell her that our choice is the plan B. Ohh. What was plan A??-Traccs. Oh, it doesn’t matter that the other is kicking and we can’t scribbler her. No, she’s not kicking. We will be careful and stay near her head. As for scribbering we also have to knock Viper silly as well. It doesn’t matter if do it with one or two horses. It doesn’t matter… What? Mules are ugly?? I think they are beautiful. And you haven’t seen Traccs yet. Bye.”
After the democratic votes we were happy to get ready for the journey. But we were a bit sad as well, because Tündér Palko won’t live with us anymore. We love him. Not just because he is a fairy pony, but he is also kind, manageable and trustable. But we knew he needs the mountains.
Palkó got ont he trailer without any problem and he was smart during the journey.
You can read more on his arrival on the blog of Zakuszkatanya: http://zakuszkatanya.hu/blog/read/1121
Amálka was waiting for u sin the log port. Her fur was shining. She looked nicely while we filled out the buying and selling papers. She entangled just once to the check. So I looked into the future with confidence after we said goodbye to Palkó and went to the trailer with Amál.
Two hours later the confidental look has changed. Amál’s look was a bit glazed. She thought the horse-box was not the best place for a mule like this. She is Amálka and she doesn’t let us to do our job. If she wants she can kick our heads. Unfortunately she wanted it then.
We tried some tricks, violence, and asks but not in this order. We said some sentences that not fit the people who are for animal rights. The most beautiful sentence which contains the less swearing was told by Vili (the right hand of Rozi). It was like „Amál, I just have fueled the chainsaw this morning!”
After two hours: 2 smashed cams, a torn left elbow, broken nails, sweating people and Amálka in the horse-box.
Nothing else has happened during our way. It was getting dark when we arrived back to Noé. Amálka stayed there with the small stud where she already had a friend: Koksz who also came from Zakuszkatanya. She come for stroking, she is sweet, she is pulling on and she still didn’t want to kick anybody because it is the trend now.

I love her!
Rozi: Thanks for everything!
Traccs: Sorry!
Tündér Palkó: Take some deep breath from the mountain air!
Meggyes
