If you have questions about Ász, please send an e-mail to !
A call came from the Animal Rescue Foundation in Füzesabony about a dog in a village called Szomolya. Ász is a sweet young female dog who lived in terrible condition and she was pregnant with her first litter. She also had some kind of trauma on her right front leg and one of her bone in her lower arm stopped growing. The other bone grew and it made her leg deformed and she started to put a strain on her elbow joint. At Dr. Tamás Juhász' Clinic he was operated on and he cut the bone in order to "force" it grow in the right direction. The procedure is painful and it will take a long time for her to heal. Her movement needs to be restricted also. This was she will have a chance to heal and live without pain. He is recuperating in our hospital ward at the animal home.
He is a very friendly and cooperative young dog. He doesn't like that he has to stay in close quarters and be on kennel rest and he tells his opinion with loud barking.
He seems to be an active dog so we recommend him for an active family. Going to dogschool for him is a must.
We are looking for a family who is responsible and is aware of the hardships of bringing up a young dog and is ready to accept that there will be accidents and losses in the flat or in the garden. We are looking for someone who will not only love him when he is a teenager, but when he is an adult and also when he gets old.
He is chipped, his vaccination program has been started and the owner has to continue it. The future owner is obligated to neuter him and we will check it.
