If you have questions about Putyin, please send an e-mail to !
The highway patrol service has asked for our help about catching a dog not far from our shelter. On the M0 highway not far from the Pécel exit there was a dog running around.
We have experience in this kind of situations and it is always a tricky and delicate one. Even if the traffic has been stopped it is very dangeourus working on the highway. This call was urgent. They said it is an emergency. When we got there it came to us that it is the day of the Putin visit and highway is closed off already.
There were lots of police cars, nervous cops and a scared to death big dog. The tried to catch him by chacing him and he kept running away. We had to act quickly and we were able to catch the dog in time with the help of the police.
It is no surprise that we gave him the name Putyin. We didn’t find a chip in him and he is so confused right now that he is not friendly at all. Hopefully when he will calm down and will be in safety that he will change his mind and will be nice to us.
His previous owner was not found so we are looking for a new one.
He was tested for dirofilaria immitis and it came back positive.
His treatment has started which will be long, dangerous and expensive. After he heals he can live a full and long life.
