Kapocs is an approximately 2 years old, small male dog. He was brought in with severe injuries that we could not identify. Car accident might have been the cause. His jaw broke; it was operated and will supposedly heal completely. Unfortunately a cervical vertebra was also hurt therefore he couldn’t use his front legs properly.

Thanks to rehabilitation and medication, one of his front legs functions well already but he still has problems with the other one. We continue the cure with acupuncture treatments.

Hi,
Kapocs – who listens to Peti pretty well already – is a very kind little dog. He has opened up completely, and is very playful and vivacious. He is always after us, interested in everything, loves giving kisses and if he is really into it, chews us :-) He steals tissues, only used ones, naturally, and is into the ball more and more (I bought him a tennis-ball sized one that fits his little a tennis-ball sized one that fits his little mouth). Since he has been receiving half doses of the steroids his mood and appetite has changed for the better, he doesn’t sniffle, is not snotty and his eyes are also healed. Regarding his little feet, I don’t have such good news. He is moving them from his shoulders but from the elbow down they only dangle :-( I often stroke his paws and he responds with a flinch, meaning he has feeling in them but he cannot move them.

To be honest I can’t wait for acupuncture, I’m so hopeful!!!
You can see on the photos that we’ve been to Pocak’s beautician ( I love it that the complete playground mix Pocak has his own beautician :-), well the main thing is that she’s been “fighting” with Kapocs-Peti for two hours and the mini golden retriever turned into a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel!
He loves kids. We organized a Halloween party for my daughter, Emma and the dogs not only endured the “treatment” of five little girls at once but were melting with happiness.

Kapocs gets along Pocak and the cats very well, and practically does not voice his opinion. A woof here and there and that’s all. He loves walks and I might have written already that my heart nearly broke that we can’t take him to the fields, so I went to buy him a carrier. This is how we take him out, leave him in the soft grass and when he has enough and tired we put him back in the “transporter bag”. He is extremely happy and looks like a bunny from afar, as he bounces up and down. He did not have conflicts with anyone, a little murmur maybe, but it’s more like a “look out, here comes Peti”.
