The bird reserve is ready!

After finishing the fox reserve in 2009, this spring we successfully completed the bird rehabilitation facility at our shelter.

The bird reserve is located next to the fox reserve on a 180 m2 area. It is spacious and comfortable, meeting the needs of the animals and making them able to live under conditions almost identical to their natural habitat. Birds that are seriously injured, lame, suffered irreversible damage and therefore cannot be set free in nature are housed and nursed here.

At the moment the reserve is the final home for one hawk, ten rooks and two hooded crows.
