Additionally to the special events we regularly have, our Animal Shelter receives about 50 phonecalls and tons of E-mails daily about dogs, even litters that need to be taken in, homed, taken care of. Due to the economic crisis the number of relinquished dogs have been skyrocketed up to 3-500 dogs weekly, which is just an incredible number. Our shelter and our programs seem to fight windmills, but the numbers below speak for themselves. Please see our statistics for the year 2009:
