Sole came from the city pound in Edelény early July. His injured paw was not treated and it became infected. You could see the bones, the thews and the nerves have been damaged. We thought that was the worst of his problems…

His foot has almost healed. It was a long and rocky recovery but thanks to the vet, his team and of course Sole it has happened. After that came the blow that he has dirofilaria immitis.

We know what it means. He can heal again but it will be long, risky and expensive. He is being examined to determine in which stage he is in. Then the specialist will decide which treatment protocol will be used.
We have written a lot of articles on this disease because the numbers are growing fast. Don’t forget PREVENTION is the only solution! Your dogs are also at risk! Sole’s recovery so far has cost a lot and his next treatment will cost even more. Just the examination and the diagnosis costs 50000 huf (about 165 eur).
