Péceli Mimi is a bull-type bitch born in 2022, who came into our care with the help of the Tattooed Animal Rescuers Animal Protection Association.
On 05.10.2025, about 15-16 dogs were thrown out on the border of Pécel - Maglód. The dogs were in a pack, they attacked people, one person was seriously injured, and they also attacked cars continuously. They obviously behaved differently in a pack, they were confused, and they felt in danger.
Tattooed Animal Rescuers tried to capture the separated dogs individually, but with little success, they only managed to capture one pregnant bitch in poor condition (this is our dog Mimi) who was immediately hospitalized.
In order to protect the seriousness of the situation and human life, the authorities consulted with the Hunting Association and the local notary and, based on the notary's permit, 6 aggressive dogs were shot. The dogs that were shot were all bitches without chips, pregnant, several had prolapsed vaginas, were in poor condition, and had severely worn teeth. The other dogs ran away in the area. The capture is still ongoing.
Mimi was one of the lucky ones who was not shot, so she got a chance for a better life. After being immediately spayed, she was still very distrustful. However, within a few days she opened up completely. She is playful, friendly, and quickly finds common ground with other dogs, and even seeks out people for company. The story she has experienced is incredible and she still trusts people.
Mimi really deserves to have her kind nature rewarded and to live with a family for the rest of her life.
Péceli Mimi can be adopted as a family member after being vaccinated, chipped, and spayed.
