This frightened little old dog guarded his dead owner for a week and a half. We encounter such horror too often. We see loyal hearts and souls torn apart too often.
Dagi Lui came to us through the Supporters for Animals Foundation. His world, which he had thought was safe until now, collapsed from one moment to the next.
The shelter is a terrifying, foreign place, too noisy, too scary for him. He arrived terrified, we could barely coax him out of his carrier. But neither we nor he gave up! He accepted a few careful caresses, still hesitantly snuggling into the hand that reached him. But behind the terror there is his desire for human closeness. It is true that right now he would still like to hug his lost owner. No one can give him that one.
A new home, a new loving family, would be more important than anything else. Until he gives up, until his broken soul can still be stitched together

Dagi Lui is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and can be adopted as a family member.
