He came into our care first on 16.04.2023.
Szecska is one of the young males born around April 2022, who was captured and brought to us by the Füzesabony Animal Welfare Foundation. He was dumped on the side of a road in Heves County with several other dogs, where he was in danger.
Fortunately, Szecska was not injured, but with a million ticks, he was hungry and thirsty. He is a very friendly, good-humoured pinscher character. Szecska has been through 2 unsuccessful adoptions. Unfortunately, the first time he wasn't given enough time to settle in, he was brought back almost immediately. The second time her adopter requested a knott test during a blood test, which unfortunately came back positive, so she has microfilariae in her blood. Which is either the larvae of a skin worm or a heartworm. A PCR test (microfilariae genetic test) is needed to specify what he has exactly. As we had a heartworm AG test on introduction and it came back negative, we are very hopeful that the PCR will confirm this and it will be "just" a skinworm. This health problem has made the owner fearful and prefer to bring him back.
Szecska is now looking for a new owner again, he is a bit disappointed but hopeful as he is waiting for his forever family. He can't be adopted just as a garden dog.
WYou can inquire about him at info@noeallatotthon.hu or call 06302211299 between Mon-Sat 10-15 hours!
