Tóni is middle sized Dachshund mix male. He is from Kunhegyes and the local animal rescue group has asked for our help.

The only information that we have on his previous life is that he was chained to a drum in a garden. It turns out his owner was a bedridden old lady who couldn't even take care of herself. The neighbor took care of her. He was taken to our vet immediately and he was examined and we are waiting for the results on his skin. The only thing we know for sure that his heart worm test came back positive.

His treatment started right away. His taking anti inflammatory medication and has to take special herbal baths to ease his skin itches and discomforts. Even though this whole ordeal he is very sweet and cooperative.

After he heals, he will be castrated, vaccinated and then we will look for a new owner for him. He can't be adopted just as a garden dog. We want a family for him where he will be treated as a member and where he will be loved for as long as he lives.
