Thanks to the T-Club (Supporters’ Club)!

We are very proud to see how our volunteers cooperate with each other and are willing to make sacrifices in order to get things going at the shelter. However, there is a special group among them who deserve exceptional attention and appraisal: the Supporters’ Club, whose members have contributed significantly to the everyday life of the shelter.

The Supporters’ Club – or T-Club, as we call them – was dreamed up by Éva, Courage, Yoda and Viki. Their main goal was to ensure a small amount of money to cover at least some of our costs on a regular, monthly basis.

During 2009 the Supporters’ Club grew immensely and by the end of the year it had 124 members, donating altogether 1,672,300 HUF to the shelter. Not only do they pay a monthly membership fee but they are there to help at events, they collect money for our seriously injured residents whose medical treatment is especially expensive, and they even prepare marvellous meals for our animals at Christmas!

We are proud to have such an excellent team by our side, and cannot thank them enough for their love, support and hard work!
