Birds and Trees Day

Members of the Support Club organised a surprise gift for the birds of the Animal Shelter on the Birds and Trees Day. We arrived on Saturday morning equipped with various seeds; vegetables (salad, carrot, potato, corn); fruits; dry bread and semolina. We placed neatly all this nice food in a plastic tub and in boxes. And on the top of all this Gabi, the wife of one of our members – Mozdonyos – prepared a double-layered corn porridge cake, which was beautifully decorated with seeds, fruits and vegetables. The cake was beautiful and very spectacular! When we finished “dishing up”, we took our surprises to the farmyard and the animals gave us a warm welcome. After a short while all the animals were stuffing their belly with the delicacies (not only the birds).
