We helped in envelope filling

Let’s look back in time. It’s 5th April 2009. Several members of our Support Club prior to the large April Event enthusiastically helped us filling the envelopes with invitations and information brochures about the 1% tax donations.
As the posting deadline was very tight and it was important that everyone received the invitation on time, 6 to 8 members of the Support Club Friday night – as a result of a unanimous vote- decided to head for the Karidzs house with folding, brainstorming and meeting purposes. The biggest victim was Viki, as she was going everyday to the animal shelter; using public transportation and she had to carry in her hands the thousands of letters. We decided to meet her at 7 pm. We “moved in” to the Karidzs house and started to fold enthusiastically thousands and thousands of letters and posters. As usual the evening went very well, as always when we got together. Our major fun-maker, Csézli never left his good mood home and he entertained us while we were a glutton for work. Next day, when we went to the animal shelter we asked for exemption from envelope filling, as our hands were still numb from the hard work of the previous day. Luckily loads of volunteers were willing to do the envelope filling; therefore we were left with dealing with the animals “only”. And of course this is why we are waiting for Saturdays so much.
