Our cat, Mizu (What’s up) was found in the city centre based on residential notification on one of the hottest days of the year. We were already nearly sick just looking at the picture of the cat, but the on-site situation exceeded our worst nightmares.
We found Mizu near Nyugati square, she was rather thin, near dehydration and had a flaming hot fur. She probably hasn’t eaten for days and we only hoped that she got water somewhere even though her condition showed the opposite. The cat had no fur on her back in a 4x10 cm area, where you could see the flesh. The open wound was bloody and inflamed that was parching further in the hot weather and moreover she scratched the wound sometimes.
We took her to the doctor of course after giving her water and food.
The cause of the injury has remained unclear, among the guesses there is dog bite, flea allergy, intentional abuse, mordant and getting stuck in a fence, bottom line is that there is a huge wound on the back of Mizu.
Her treatment is likely to be a long one, for which we would like to ask for your contribution. We are very grateful for every penny!
