We had another "heartworm day". In the last 3 weeks, 9‼️ heartworm positive dogs from all over the country were brought into the care of Noah's Animal Shelter Foundation. More than 90% of the dogs admitted are heartworm infected 😡😢💔‼️
Today we took 5 of them to Dalma Péterfia, a heartworm specialist. The doctor diagnoses the parasite infestation status with a complete cardiological examination, cardiac ultrasound and other tests as needed and sets up personalized treatment protocols.
Today, Gustavson, Gregorian, Bandzsi, Jana and Cafka underwent the check-up. All of them were confirmed to have heartworm infection. 😢😡💔

This round of testing has now cost nearly 130.000Ft. The expensive treatments are just starting...
