On Friday late afternoon we have received a message with shocking pictures from the city pound of Etyek. We have contacted them immediately and said yes. One of the volunteer worker of the pound jumped into her car with Jorge and in matter of hours he arrived at the Délpesti Állatgyógyászat Központ és Sebészeti Centrum Clinic. He received emergency care. He had a head trauma and he lost one of his eyes. The other problem is that he is not able to see with the other eye. We don't know if it is from the head trauma or he was blind before. Only time and more examinations will tell.
Jorge is not friendly at this time and we totally understand. Probably his head hurts, he is blind and scared. His lab results are not all that good either. His liver numbers are high and there are other problems. Our miracle worker vet Dr Boda has decided to remove one of his eye as soon as his condition allows.
